You Think You Know Me. But You Do Not Know Me At All.

You appear; and you think you know me.

You think I’m a victim, fragile, easily taken advantage of. You think I’m easily broken, that I will surrender to your supremacy like all the others, that I will be next to satiate your starved ego.

You appear; and you are a furious wind, mighty and loud. You force your strength upon anything you deem weak, vulnerable; you destroy all you can in your need for power and control.

You think this is me, that I am weak, that I am next in your path of destruction.

But you do not know me at all.

For I have confronted winds more destructive than you will ever be, and I have won.

I am not a victim, I am a survivor.

I am a fighter, a warrior, a storm cave, a bomb shelter.

I am armoured, bulletproof, unbreakable.

I am a battleground, war-torn, covered in scars that do not speak of my demise, but scream of my triumph.

So, fight. Give me your best.

I revel in your destruction. I rage against your chaos.

Every time you push me down I will rise again, stronger.

Every time you break me, I will come together again, indestructible.

You appear; a furious wind, and you think you know me.

But you do not know me at all.
